EAR SURGERY
  • Desire:
To reduce the size of the ears or make the ears less prominent, setting them back closer to the head.
  • Procedure:
After a thorough discussion and examination by your physician, a personal treatment plan will be determined.

Through a small incision in the back of the ear, the cartilage is reshaped and positioned closer to the head. The excess skin is removed and a stitching process is used to help maintain the new shape.

* Most often an outpatient surgery.
  • Recovery:
Adults may return to work in about 5 days. Children may go back to school after 7 days.
